Haus12 team designed, supplied and fitted a quality German kitchen in 2015. Despite the kitchen manufacturer going out of business and the product being well out of guarantee, I contacted John McNeil when we had a problem with the finishing on one of the doors. John immediately arranged for a survey. The original kitchen fitter removed the door, took it away and returned a few days later. Same door was refitted, looks as good as new. No quibble, no argument about warranty period, no charge. EXCELLENT customer service.

I remember we decided to call into John’s showroom on a whim as we had been getting rather depressed looking at the run of the mill kitchens from the major manufacturers. Three hours later after some really detailed discussions on what we really wanted, the decision to go with Haus12 was made. John has an incredible mind for design and made suggestions that we would never have thought of. At one point we were considering an extension, but after discussion, John highlighted to us the benefits of existing space and how he could transform it into a kitchen space which met our small family’s needs. We went to John to help us design our new kitchen as we knew what we wanted but no clue how to achieve it. From the moment we spoke nothing was too much hassle, John kept altering his designs till we were happy , and he managed to accommodate all our requirements, which no other high street company could achieve. His knowledge and design ideas are second to none, he has transformed the way we live, our kitchen is the new family hub we spend so much time in here, from cooking and eating family meals to socialising and entertaining guests. Wouldn’t hesitate to use Haus 12 again
After seeing Haus 12’s work online, we called for an initial consultation with John, who is really personable and friendly. The showroom demonstrates the fantastic quality of the kitchens and we were really keen on the anti fingerprint door fronts available, which we’ve not seen anywhere else. John put careful thought into the design, meeting our requirements and coming up with great ideas we would not have thought of, all within budget. His knowledge of the products is first rate. John’s team of skilled workers did a fantastic job – they’re all extremely hardworking and nothing was ever too much trouble. Special mention to Malcolm, and also to Lee for coming back at 8pm to fit the final piece when it was delivered. The finished kitchen looks amazing and we’re so pleased with how it turned out. We will be looking to remodel our utility room in future and wouldn’t hesitate to use Haus 12 again.

Through a combination of really good design and practicality we have a really well thought out and beautiful kitchen. From the very start until the end I can honestly say the service has been excellent, John is certainly not pushy he listens to your needs and then discusses solutions to the problems. We have had our kitchen beautifully transformed by John McNeil at Haus-12. He really captured what we wanted from the space and has managed to craft something stylish, modern and functional but which is also really sensitive to the farm-house/cottage setting. It is wonderful to cook in and a delight to live in. John’s various tradespeople are all real experts as well as being gentle, polite and courteous – the sorts of people it feels very comfortable having in your home. We love our new kitchen and couldn’t recommend Haus-12 enough to anyone thinking about getting work done on their own home.

We wanted a quality German Kitchen, our search delivered exactly what we were looking for right
here in the North East. Enter John McNeil, from his initial Design concept to the completed project
by Haus12 in Newcastle. John sat down with us at his showroom, and we chatted about our loose
ideas, drawings and extension plans. He listened to our ideas and requirements. Attention to detail
was first class. He noted how we said we used the kitchen in our old house and what we needed this
one. John provided both an interesting asymmetrical concept island in a one off colour with angled
breakfast bar for entertaining, combined with the solid “tall wall” housing the fitted white goods and
hidden IBIS cupboard as it is now affectionately known. John’s extensive knowledge and ideas with
his charismatic enthusiasm has brought about a great result. Lee (the Haus12 installer) who installed
the kitchen was professional and courteous throughout with nothing being a problem to him. Being
methodical and above all a clean and tidy worker, even cleaning down and vacuuming out all the
units before he left on the last day. That’s not where our journey finished though. After the
installation John was still available. Ensuring after some time we were satisfied with the kitchen, and
everything was working as designed and fitted. John made time to come to the house and see the
finished extension space and our fabulous family kitchen in person.

We were wanting a modern style kitchen but couldn’t find anything we liked at the traditional big stores. We found John through Google searches and went to his showroom in Newcastle. We loved the quality of the kitchens on display and also Johns knowledge and enthusiasm. This was the first time we’d ever bought a kitchen and John knew all the right questions to ask us and really made us think about what we wanted from our kitchen. We had quite a tight budget for the size of kitchen we were looking to get, but John was able to design our dream kitchen and bring it within our budget.
John guided us through the whole process, and it was constantly clear that John had a great eye for detail and demanded very high standards from his team and suppliers. We always knew we were in safe hands. Lee did a superb job fitting the kitchen and the build quality and finish is outstanding.

We visited various showrooms but Haus 12 were by far the best. John actually listened to how we would use the space and provided a design accordingly, rather than a traditional kitchen space. He went for the wow factor and from that point on we were sold. The space (now complete) is exactly what we’d hoped for, if not better. Lee’s (fitter) workmanship is like no other I have seen. He really is a perfectionist and it shows. Would 100% recommend Haus 12. They’re not happy unless you are and that’s very VERY rare these days when it comes to ‘building’ work and trades. We have even had some of the tradesmen back to do work on other parts of the house, seems there’s a first time for everything. Thanks Haus 12.
